Day 1
Well we are finally here in Japan, flights were good, no delays. We are now down in Ogata which is the southern region of Japan, we have just been out for a meal with Toru and the Sakuma Brothers, ver nice.
We are being collected from the hotel at 8.30 tomorrow and are off to Sakumas, we will then make our way to Hiroi, we will be stopping in Ogata all day tomorrow then make our way up to Nigeta.
Will hopefully be able to get pics up here soon.
Day 2
Today we went to Sakuma, who is a great showa breeder, but also has gin rin showas, shiros, sankes and a few kohakus.
Here they let us hand pick through some tosai. Four boxes were bought, the first being for one of our partys koi clubs show and grow.
The Sakuma brothers then took us all for a curry and then drove us to Hirois farm.
After purchasing some koi from them, we were then taken to the station where we headed to Nagaoka to the Mets hotel, where we got rid of our bags and headed off to get some food.
